Hannah Smith is a figurative artist based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Working predominately in oils, she explores performance in everyday life, drawing inspiration from dystopian narratives.

Hannah’s solo exhibition ‘Proceed as Normal’ at the Roe Valley Arts Centre opened on the 13th April and is on display unitl 18th May 2024. In Janurary of this year, Hannah exhibited at the Saatchi Gallery, London in the group show ‘The Way of All Flesh’ curated by The Delphian Gallery.

Last year, Hannah was selected by CCA Derry, Londonderry to take part in the Jerwood Arts short mentoring scheme. Hannah is a member of Vault Artist Studios and has recently moved studios, currently based in West Belfast, she is busy creating a new body of work that combines painting and sculptural elements.
